APW - Ball Hamilton, Grade 998 Elinvar 23J, Official RR Standard, marked "Elinvar" on pallet bridge, 16S, GF OF original "Ball Official RR Standard" case with stirrup bow, crudely engraved initials inside rear, SW-LS, WE-SSD, fully capped lever escapement with AMAC balance and blued Elinvar HS, jeweled barrel arbor, 23J, GJS, gold center wheel, bull's-eye pattern NI damascene, s#B649905.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, near mint mvt condition overall; dial perfect; hands near mint; case shows light wear, wear to brass on band, also beginning shoulder brassing on rear, many MFS, no dents but some sharp dings, complete border detail; bow tight, wear at eyelet, crown shows medium wear and break; good glass crystal.
